i just wanted to give you an update of my work...
Complete SizeFix: 60% done.
Guide for resizing models: 50% done.
I want to get some feedback for my Guide as it is at the moment. Please remember there are no pics in the guide atm because i didn't added them now because i'm not at home. And also don't relate to text's like "Sword_2H_ZULAMAN_RAID" because i'm not at home i cannot lookup the real item name's or directions. But i will add pictures and the 100% right item-directories and filenames. Just wanted to show you how simple the Guide will be and wanted some feedback from you guys what you think about the guide at it's 50% completed status

As i said in my Hairfix Thread i will release a guide on how to resize the items (Helm / Weps / Shoulders / Mounts) in a real easy way. So i made this guide.

I. Programmes that will be needed:
I. Glitschy's Model editing suite. (Best modelediting tool ever.)
II. WoWModelViewer
III. MyWarcraftStudio
IV. Notepad
II. Finding the Model:
This is the most timeexpensiv and hardest part of the whole resize-thing
. First open up your WoWModelViewer. Now for my example i will resize the "Vengeful Gladiator's Greatsword". So in the
WoWModelViewer i browse to:
ITEMS > WEAPONS > ...
Now i'm searching for the file named Sword_2H_ZULAMAN_RAID.
Because i know that the glad's greatsword is only a recolored zul'aman (jin'akhol or so i think) drop (i've read this on wowhead but with a little knowlege of the game you should almost know it.) So for now remember the filename.
Now open up your MyWarcraftSutio. I recognized that almost all the "new" items are in the "patch.mpq" file. Here it get's a little difficult. There are more folders that CAN contain the weapon-file were looking for.

i found mine in item > WEAPONS > Sword_2H_ZULAMAN_RAID.
Now left cilck the file and then right click it an click on copy treepath. Now open up your notepad and paste the treepath. Next up right click again and click "extract file to..." i've choosen my desktop
And that's it this was the hardpart everything what follows now is extremly easy.
III. Resizing the model
Just open up your Glitschy's MES. In the MES click on the first icon from the right:
m2 tools > model resizer
Glitschy's should now open up a dialog:
In the Dialog press the "load" button and select your extracted m2 file (mine's: Sword_2H_ZULAMAN_RAID). Now where the dialog says "1" you'll fill in a 1,3 because my tauren resizepatch will resize all models by 1,3. (the "," is IMPORTANT if you make a ". <- dot" you will end up with a REAL BIG GREEN MESS
.
When the 1,3 is filled in press on "enlarge". Glitschy's will tell you with a message that you can get your cookie now (means the resizing is done).
IV. Repacking the Model:
Last but not least open up your Warcraftstudio again. Click on Pack > Create Pack. The you'll select a save destination and a file name you can choose complete free (i will take "weapon.MPQ" and save destination also my desktop).
Now click on Pack > add files to Pack...
Click on the "..." button. Now select your resized m2 file (mine: Sword_2H_ZULAMAN_RAID).
When you've loaded the file the dialog will still be there but in the editbox there will be the text "Sword_2H_ZULAMAN_RAID". Now go to your Notepad where you pasted the Threepath to. Copy that Threepath. Now mark the whole Editfield in the Warcraftstudio and overwrite it with the copied ThreePath.
example:
was:
Sword_2H_ZULAMAN_RAID.m2
now:
item\WEAPONS\Sword_2H_ZULAMAN_RAID.m2
Click on "OK". Then click on Pack > Save and close Pack.
V. Have Fun:
Now just copy the MPQ file to your \data\ folder and add it to your wowme.cfg.
