Tested human male to UD male and it workd fine but it was just testing i dont like UD looks so i deleted the patch-4.mpq and patch-5.mpq from the data folder, after this I cant start wow, just gives me some error and dont let me ingame. I can start wow with the ModelChange.exe but i want to start it from the old way. Would appreciate some answers.

Re: Model Edit Fix

p/h you deleted some patch.mpq's you shouldn't delete...

-> try run repair.exe in your wow main-directory or/and reinstall WoW, hopefully you create a back-up of your wow-files in future what's really recommended when you change files ...

Re: Model Edit Fix

zmutfx what is the memory address for 2.0.10, which you use successfully in the standalone .exe?

i assume not the "0xCE6CAC" from the source code, as i compiled that and the memory address doesn't work (anyway i recall it being called 2.0.3's source, not 2.0.10's - so thats probably why.)

everything else worked fine btw, it started up properly, and went away quickly using END too, it just didnt stop the wow crash - which the standalone .exe does

on a side note, which compiler and which compiling options do you use?
Open Watcom gave just one warning, that the 2 &array's MAY not work as intended, but otherwise fully accepted all the source code.

Re: Model Edit Fix

I will start to post the latest offset when i release a new version from now on.

0xCE6CA4 is the latest (2.0.10) offset.

I compile the fix with Code::Blocks on default settings which i don't particually like (All my other projects/work are in VS2005).

Re: Model Edit Fix

what would be the best waster code which could be repetedly pasted a random amount of times, to make each persons program a different size and hash? (as well as name).

(i.e. something which doesn't negatively effect the running, nor use any memory/resources, but is never the less included in the compiled .exe)

i don't write C++

pleeeease giiiief help :**( (I'm so tired of "working")

Hi!

Okay, so I have the following problem:
1.) I did all steps needed to change models (want to change from humanMale to HumanFemale) - I used MWS to create new patch-x-thingies and used modelchange.exeXXX(XXX= patch 2.0.8 to 2.0.10 what ever^^). so I tried everything menitoned in this forum to make models work...
Question:
2.)Can somebody pleeease create a patch-x-file for me containing modelswitching humanmale to a human female and giving a link or what ever to the correct modelchange.exe ?
3.)I spent about...ye...3 hours now in ONLY reading forums about model changing and what I found out is that a program inside WoW reads the size of models and corrects them if they don't fit (I don't remind if it was even mentioned in this forum ^^), so the modelchangeXXX attempts to block or clear this program, how ever, it'll help u making ur new models visible...
4.)Okay, for now I have seriously enough of my wicked male human showing up all the time I start WoW and being full of happyness hoping a god damn sexy bunny showing up on my char-screen(in game screen).
=>5.)Haha 5 points to glory ( i hopeXD). Just btw. I love u guys for creating those fabulouse ways of making WoW nicer to anyone who needs a change !

That's it for now, Laters!

Re: Model Edit Fix

According to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] the 2.0.10 exe should work with the live 2.0.12 version.
