Reading the aptly named Readme that came with the MEF will tell you how to load MPQs with the new MEF.

Even more interestingly enough, I posted the same thing earlier in this very thread.


Now if you have it working.. infact you know what, read the thread.
Then post what's wrong, providing error message details where possible. Or a good description will also do.

Otherwise if you can't read this thread, who am I to believe you'll read any solutions I post?

I've done everything required to do and none of it works. I've read every post in this post, i've done everything. but It just won't work.. Nothing shows up, but now it crashes my WoW. The error it posts when it crashes: Sorry for long error post.

The older files won't be fixed relative to the current version of the game, instead I'll be releasing new ones at my leisure with the small changes and tweaks I've made over the last couple months.

Starting with Night Elves - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Contains the updated sound setup and is otherwise 95% completed.
For those who specifcally use the Night Elf swap, this will be a good time to give it a whirl and while you're there, report anything that needs fixing or otherwise changing.

As for the other 9 races, I'll do them when I get around to it. So please don't pester for them.

Thanks to those who have contributed over the year and enjoy the new work.

Spent the last couple days with 3DS Max and my altered Blood Elf model and have since made some significant changes to the bodyshape. Probably more exciting was the revamp on one of the unused Blood Elf Hairstyles.

If you have ever spent some time with Model Viewer, you'll be sure to recognise it!


The style has been heavily altered, with the intention of it looking more 'complete'

Expect it to be released with the updated Night Elf race change pack within a couple days, if not sooner.

Test Version 3.1 - 08-09-2008
High Elves version 3.1 TEST

This is the new rollout of the High Elf race, the pack has been reconstructed from the ground up and should be better then ever.
New features include but are not limted to.
  • Refined body
  • Updated sound file system -- allowing for easier intergration to other races and genders.
  • New hairstyle and two way functional eye colour -- designed to work well with both High and Blood Elves should you have both in the game at any one time.

As this is a test version, there's still some work to be done before I even consider other races. And purely for the Night Elves, a restructure of the hair colour setup to make the NPCs look just a bit better.

As for the new hairstyle, it's currently only set to the Night Elf Female 02 Geoset (the short hair). If people need a guide on how to change it to their own hairstyle, I'll post a guide in the near future.

First of all, thanks for your great work, really love the reskin.

Now to the Problem. :x

Dunno if i did anything wrong, but whenever I choose to show the helmet there wont be any Ears shown ... thats kinda disgusting. Any Idea how to fix this?

I'm assuming the ears show with helms that don't remove the hair geoset, as well while no helm is showing.

If it's what I think it is, I'll look into it and send you something to test. Otherwise I'll have it remedied when I release 3.0 of Draenei.
