Re: how to get model editing working again - 01-30-2007

Ok scanned these 2 programs they seem to be clean, time will tell.

Basically i'm working for a character to character model change. Gnome into night elf or tauren w/e anything but gnome really.

I tryed using MWS yesterday, tried oppening common.mpq it wouldnt open just saw some green rotating circle (looked occult or something). So i didnt get very far into my model editing experience. After that wow went nuts and was unable to find common.mpq forcing me to reinstall.(wasnt to bad just poped in the disc's and went out for lunch).

So DL these 2 exe files? And then what exactly run MWS(my warcraft stuido) and search arround for the files i want to change?

its so that when the OGH webcrawler comes here to surf for more stuff to steal, the "((tracking username: [OGH webcrawler's accout]))" will come up and they can ban that account, pretty damn smart IMO.

Re: how to get model editing working again - 02-05-2007

=/ It is really quite simple.

Let me break it down in steps
1) It creates the process WoW.exe
2) It edits the memory to enable model changing (1 byte change)
3) it checks for the use to press END when they do it changes that same bit of memory to its original value (Sure you could say this is a saftey precaution).

The only thing you need to change to update it every patch is the offset. Phraise (I think it is.. sorry if i am wrong) made a post on another thread saying how it was possible to find the new offset each patch. Recompile and upload.

- zmutfx (I created this so as i said before you can contact me on aim at zeroau10)
