A simple graphic change for fireball. Your fireball will now shoot out 3 balls of fire instead of one. The balls move just like arcane missiles move. So the balls will move in and out 'till they reach their target. Here's a screenshot:





Instructions:

1) Download the MPQ file here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

2) Put the file in World of Warcraft > Data

3) Rename it patch-x.MPQ (replace x with any number 3-9 or letter a-z)

4) Run wow and enjoy.



FAQ:

Q: Does it require MEF?
A: Nope. I don't want to run anything along with wow so I won't make you do it either. I'm sure that sooner or later blizz is gonna patch warden to detect MEF and then ... well lets not talk about that.

but since im a worlock as main can i ask u to make it with shadowballs to replacing shadowball

ill give 1 more rep in 24 houres if u do m8 :-)

and pehaps 1 more replacing shadowball but where the skin for each of the small balls are the purple deathball that illidan shoots

im not requesting i asked if he could make a change of his model this would be a nice thing since more classes would be able to use his cool fix and he is the one working on this specif job

if i asked in request the chances that this dude would find my post would be very little

if he minds me sugesting the change he will propperly say so, it is not like i made a new tread saying looking for some one to make arc missiles to shadowbolts bla bla

Well, Starbrezze, if you had asked for me to change it to a warlock spell I would have done it. Or if you had asked for me to change the graphic, I probably would have done it. But you are asking me to both change the graphic and change it to a warlock spell. It'd have nothing to do with what I made then. That makes it a request and not a suggestion. And you are right, if you had made a post in the requests forum I wouldn't have seen it.

errr...it aint working mate... lol

I'm leveling a mage, and it doesnt work, it shows the same fireball. i even did rename it patch-4.mpq

Try making sure that the .mpq extention is capitalized .MPQ.


On a side note. I noticed that this patch also changes the imp's fireball. I was in Magister's terrace and found myself thinking "AWESOME they gave the imps in MT a new fireball graphic!" then I realized it was me.
