So, i have been gliding a warlock for a week now. Got him to 50 so far, but i have a burning question. While im focusing in demonology now(for easier gliding), what spec should i mainly go into at 70? I really like PvP, battlegrounds, and i want to be good in arena. Any ideas?

if you're wanting to do battlegrounds, i think affliction is the way to go with all the dots you can dish out on multiple people.

something along the lines of 41/9/11


as for arena, really depends on what teams you're joining. to my knowledge the most popular specs are sl/sl and the felguard spec

felguard: 5/45/11

sl/sl : 26/35/0

these are just general guidelines, tweak them to ur own tastes =P

Made some speccs on Wowhead for ya, so you can see the pro's and cons for yourself

SL/SL: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Some other variations, but thats my fav. You get TONS of survival via Soul Link and Siphon Life, and using Felhunter will give you +70 res to all schools of magic.

UA/Bane: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Powers all of your dots up, and with UA, no one will dare dispell your dots :P

Felguard: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] My preferred, but theres alot of variations of this one. But with that one, you'll be good

when i PvP on my lock(its a rare thing tht i do it) i use my felguard to pretty much stunlock ppl lol..i use intercept and dot em up and attack with shadowbolts while i get my felly back and then intercept again and i keep doing tht..lol

The bad thing about felguard, is that he is VERY squishy. Get a good team vs you, and the demo warlock will have nothing to do. Felguard is the only power of this build, and thats the weakness at the same time.

Sl/Sl gives the survivability you are searching in arenas, by having most of the demo good stuff, but at the same time having some good aff.

Destro is a good one 2 in arenas, but it requires ALOT of skill and also very good gear to support it.

For arena, I use this spec. Sl/sl. Works great for an outlast team with a resto druid or holy priest.
