Thread title directly stole from EliteJerks

I have played a shaman from the beta and haven't rerolled any other classes (mostly because I'm lazy - leveling is really boring >_> ) I have also been enhancement almost all the time, except some respecs to resto when someone needed a healer to Karazhan or Gruul.

PvP is a pain, to be honest. I'm not really geared (aka. raid spec and gear) for PvP and I'm not really skilled, although I can predict when a druid is going to cast a cyclone :/

Thats why I resort more on luck. I'm collecting (aka. leeching and botting) honor points right now so that I can get the full S1. I'm also soon able to craft Stormherald.

Any advices / experiences you would like to share?

Ugh well, best for enh shammy is x2 slow weapons, dual wield, or 1 3.60+ speed 2 hand with windfury. Terrible thing as enh/ele shammy is if you are on an arena team, then you will get stormed and killed instantly, shammys are overpowered...

Well, we are often targeted first because we can't survive easily and get squished fast.

And shamans surely aren't overpowered.

I'm not really into elemental lightning bolt spam. Enhancement is easily kited, but paired with other classes, we are quite workables. Enhancement really doesn't shine 1 on 1, but more on team battles.

I have been doing some 2v2 arena with a retri pala, it's really useful, since they both cover the weakness of each class

if you want to arena as enhancement you're going to want 2 slow 1hers (dual wielding s1 2.6speed weapons is ideal until you can get s3) enchanted with either dual mongoose or one mongoose one executioner

for 2s, try playing with a disc priest

for 5v5, triple melee teams are very strong right now. warrior, enhancement shaman, ret pally, and 2 healers will steam roll a lot of opposing teams without much skill.

The two slow 1 handers are obvious for me, I'm not here to ask some guide, more likely to speak about Enhancement PvP. ^^

well i play shaman since alot of time, im mostly a pve shaman but im somewhat good in arena too ( as elem ) 2k arena in 5vs5

enhance are pretty strong in 3vs3 and 5vs5 because the team dont rely alot on his dps but on his buff AND his dps your biggest problem will eb to close the gap between your target and you, with the new patch, its ways more doable and frost shock spam + instant gw and your set.
the problem is enhance have ALOT of dps but alot of those shaman think they should pwn in all green and that's why alot of player think shaman are so bad, in fact if they are well played not alot of people can stop a good enhance

If you're Enhancement the only way you can get high (2.3k+) is to get yourself a mellee zerg 5v5 combo and just noskill your way there (Warrior, Rogue, Enh shaman, Ret pala, Druid)

Been there done that, (you have asbolutly no chance at all against rogues) now i respecced enhancement and it goes alot more smoother.

Elemental gear : All vengeful except shoulder, merciless shoulders
Enhancement gear: 2 vengeful , and both vengeful axes and 2 gladiator

I have my S3 Fists now and love them. I used them at the end of our BT runs ( now I lean towards the sunwell off hand and S3 MH.

Shamans are a support class, never forget that. Your goal is to always find someone to support. 1vs1 typically you will get your face melted as any spec. ( unless the other guy sucks real bad ) 2v2 I suggest a rogue or a warrior, and be ready to heal as well as DPS. 3vs3 I'd suggest a Rogue / Warrior + priest.

Make sure to keep Windfury down and use heroism when your either ready to push for the kill or when mana is getting low and you don't have to worry about the other team mass dispelling / spam puring.

Shamans use to be soo easy to kite, but ghost wolf really has helped us out with that. Instant cast is a godsend. To bad it doesn't remove snares. =/

Yeah, if you want to find a strong 1v1 character, roll a rogue. Shamans are really meant for support, I learned it the hard way. Althought we are able to beat people in 1v1 if we play our cards correctly
