[5vs5] Warrior, mace or sword? - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides

The warrior is a member of a 3 dps team.
Warrior (Swordspec), Ele Shammy (= windfury) and the warrior (currently macespec).

Should the second warrior go for sword too or should he keep his stormherald?

I think I might go for the sword for 5v5, in 2v2 and 3v3 the stuns are more valueable. But for 5v5 the extra damage might be even better, it kinda depends on your setup I guess.

Seeing as you run a doubble melee with WF totem the double Sword Specc hit and the Windfury proccs adds up. But so does the stuns from mace specc and Stunherald.

Stunherald might be better when you are nuking for instance a 4 dps team, but then again I believe sword would have an edge versus 3 healer.

You can of course try it out and see what you enjoy the most, unless the warrior can spend his points on better stuff

If he still lacks other pieces of s3 gear, I'd get them, and keep the mace, as it is not bad at all.

I'd say sword, for the procs and the overall better dps, the stun isn't as needed in 5v5 as the sword.

Sword is typically always the better choice in fives. ( 2v2 and 3v3 go with the mace ). Fives your main goal is to burst people down as quickly as possible. Making a game turn into a 5vs4 or 5vs3 in a matter of 15 seconds really is the goal.

2s and 3s are more about crowd control.

If you have Stormherald, then Maces.

Otherwise, Swords.

It's a choise you need to make. imba pewpew stun or some extra dmg once in a while. I'd go for mace.

They both have ups and downs. I prefer maces in 5s, allows more time for a snared person to catch up to the target, etc. It is almost entirely up to player preference

I would say it depends. If the warrior does PVE as a fury Slam spec he should probably grab the Sword, or if he focus's on 3s 5s. If hes more PVP and does alot of 2s along with 5s mace would be best. Just my two cents

i would say mace and ofc mace specked for the chanses on stun really helpfull sometimes

If your team plays to outlast the opponent, Mace.
If your team tries CCing while killing, Sword.
If your team is a burst team, Sword.
2v2 and 3v3 Mace is superior.

mace imo, especially since he has the stormherald for some lucky (but rare) rng and assuming that he does not have access atm to an equal sword
