| Question. in hope of a fast reply What are the files called, where are they located.. im a complete noob to all this so any help would be nice. or even baron mount  -- Sorry for posting this in both section but im after a fast and simple reply  |

| Re: Question. in hope of a fast reply lol, no offence but that dont seem too obvious 2 me, i dno about u but sayin: "What are the files called, where are they located.. im a complete noob to all this so any help would be nice. or even baron mount" Doesnt really sound like your asking about changing a swift sabre into a silithid battle tank or baron mount and to answer your question go read one of the model editing guides that should be stickied on the model editing forums, also try one of the wepon model changes before you try to do a mount one. | Re: Question. in hope of a fast reply Sorry my bad. I made two posts about this. Basically i dont want to change wepons, i ahve read the mount changing one but what iw ant to know is how i would change my Swiftstorm sabre to a Red silithid mount or even better, baron mount. |

| Re: Question. in hope of a fast reply Well this isnt in the right section but ill do my best to explain briefly. Find the mount you want in the Patch.mpq and or model/Texture.mpqs, once that is found extract it. Find where you extracted it to and rename it to the name of the model you currently have. Repeat both of those steps for the textures as well. Create a new .mpq and call it speech2.mpq or patch-x.mpq w/e Add the files and textures under the right treepath. Save and close. If your refering to DBC editing then i dont really care to explain it, and I will be the 1st to admit that was the roughest walk through ever, but that mount guide tells you the same thing in much greater detail. If your askin were the mounts actually are in the mpqs, well I believe the raptor is under "RidingRaptor" In the patch.mpq and "RidingSilithid" for the Qiraji Battle tank. -Best of luck SomethingCool |
