Does it validate you in some way - that you've decided something is "crap" that other people like?
What is it about the internet that empowers and encourages people to ignore any sense of decorum or manners?
For now on, posts that only include "it sucks, it's crap" or any variation of thus, will be deleted. Repeated offenders will be given infractions. If you think it's bad, back it up. Explain why. No ones getting better, yourself included, if your responses don't help that person fix what you think (your posts are opinions by the way, so they don't have to make it how you want it made) may be wrong. |

To take my momentary lack of judgement as an example is odd : / there are people out there who are here solely to flame, and i'm not one of them.
Merfed, regardless of how many people you put on the spot, you will NOT stop flaming. You just can't, nobody can. You can't control how people think, therefore you can't control what people say or why they say it, and tbh i don't think anyone has the right to question why someone may post something that may be seen as depraved or 'flamish'. If someone wants to express that then go ahead. I know there's a limit, which is why i'm agreeing with you to some extent. Forum rules have to be applied and for that i apologize.
I suppose i'm hoping people learn from this >.<

If you can't reply, without giving constructive criticism (it sucks, is not constructive) then don't post at all. Because even if it's negative: "I really don't like the colors, blue and lime green don't really go well together. Try, blue and yellow.", it helps. Your giving the poster, a new perspective to look at, and maybe even help them in the long run with designing, and coming up with new ideas. I never said I want to control how people think. I want people to contribute with some effort, rather than baseless insults.
It's one thing when they bitch and moan about something. They actually put effort into that, forum rules apply there. But when they just say "It's crap". Well, there's absolutely no effort going into that, and it's a normal train of thought for something people don't like. So, if you don't like something. And you find yourself typing into the reply box "It's crap." Erase that period, put a comma, and think to yourself. Why do I think it's crap? Then continue your post, with that new found information, that *gasp* was in your brain to begin with. If you can't think of anything, don't post. Your comments don't help, and it's looked down upon.

It's really annoying when I see people who call awesome edits "$%^&" when they can't do it themselves.. If you forced them to do it, they would probably realize "Wow, I was a dick for thinking this was easy" or the typical response "screw u guyz im goin home" Just to conclude, thanks for posting this here.
