yay i am not to sure what effect i want to achive with this texture yet .. i know its to stone like instead of metal, but stone might not even be a bad idea in the end to give it an ancient look. so i am not so sure what ill use in the end

i sended you a PM ... and ya the particles could use a bid better blend but i am a pretty lazy person so ill wonder if ill change it xD .. and the texture ya ... i could use some more saturation, but i was going for a grey/white shield to make it more "holy" so ya ... maby i should use some more tints of yellow here and there.

oe i like that name :O ... but i think ill be keeping it WoW loreish so it is gonna be An'she's Stand (shield) and An'she'S Will (sword). .. and glad ya like it of course

well i went to school for this, but i failed the first year of that school because i was slacking off to much at my 3D homework .. its a real shame tough because the school i was on had people that all had at least 5 years experience in the game industry :/ ... urgh i am such an idiot for not working harder >.<.

you know you should be the last person saying this mister "no i got particles in but i won't tell any body how". You might not have noticed it, but since that i really hate your gutt, especially now your asking me for my stuff when you failed to deliver.

you might not know this, but for me who is trying to get better at this stuff and joined this community (you know community .. sharing .. helping ???) for just that reason, saying you won´t teach anyone your secrets (even tough you used one of my models to show off) is really just a slap in the face to me.

ya you know how to add particles and yes it took you a while to get there, but its not like you never got any help with it :/. i mean what is the use of not distributing information about these kind of things when it might help a lot of people make their stuff look a lot better. And i won't take a reason like "Ya but then all the leechers can just get a lot of rep". real leecher won't find that information use full in the first place .. and if a leecher happen to find it interesting and work with it, he won't be a leecher anymore .. so ya .. i really don't understand why your being so lame about teaching the people that want too about particles.

so ya for me xayo you worse then a leecher on this site .. because leecher don't know shit and have nothing to contribute. You have the knowledge but keep it to yourself and to me that way lamer that someone who has nothing to contribute in the first place.

well glad thats off my chest, anyways i don't care if you end up adding particles to my model for your own purposes, but i don't want to see any threads here on mmowned about having altered my model, becuase you officially don't have my permission to do so.

I couldn't have worded it any better my friend. ~ I'm fed up with that bullshit too. The least he could do is show those of us (by us I mean Goshu, Soul Eater, and I) who have been §hitting out new and ever-so-fancy models and putting hours of OUR work into them, how to perform such an "advanced" task.

Ya know, I like how in the past few threads that we've created (those of "us" as I stated above) that Xayo has a post on each one mentioning that he'd like to add particles to it. ~ That's crap. That's like saying:

"Hey, that's a cool drawing, I'd really like to scan it, add some color, some shading, and make it look even better and show it off for you."

It seems this can be taken in a friendly, kind, and/or cool manor.... but personally, I believe that all of us on this side of the river would word it more like this:

"Hey bro, that's really nice! If you want some help touching it up, I'll PM you with some advice or knowledge that would be helpful!"

Now even though it might not sound like the best or most sugar-coated response... it is nowhere near having a thought of keeping "secrets" or holding onto knowledge that you refuse to share...

This is a community, like Goshu mentioned, and whether it took you days, weeks, or even a mere second to learn it (on your own, or from someone else)... that doesn't make it right to go trying to put it on everyone else's model and you've had #'s of requests for this information and each time, you refuse. On top of all that, you mention some group "Essentia" or whatever, RIGHT THERE FOR ALL US TO SEE, and bluntly state it's invite only. Well if that isnt a slap in the face either, then hell throw me an ore and expect me to sail to China.

I haven't had a lot of communication from Goshu, but me and Soul Eater have been sharing information on a daily basis. From him alone I've learned how to achieve creating a UVWmap using 3dsMax instead of using Ultimate Unwrap 3D. He's explained to me how to work with Line art, and even SHOW ME WHERE TO FIND A TUTORIAL on it.... and with just those 2 small pices of info I've even been able to help him back. Showing him some tips on creating an organised UVWmap, and what he can do to make his line art models 3D. ~ Hell I've even began to see sparks coming from some of the new guys. Kendor for example has created a model or two that looks nice, and I think he'll be moving into the family soon.

I'm callin this with Goshu. I don't want any of my models altered either.

I may not be able to make models or anything but i FULLY agree with Synthblade and Goshujinsama, my only difference is that ^Xayo you should release it to those who DESERVE IT (Snythblade Goshujinsama POSSIBLY [Soul Eater] ( :P) etc) sorry but i belive that those who have hte knowledge to make models that well and then get told that it could be made better if someone else released it for them because they can add something too it deserve to have hte knowledge of what you are doing to there model, you can keep this private but keep it to those whodeserve it and who wont let it out, but i also agree with goshu bout the leecher thing which is contradicting myself but still i agree
