Model EditingWorld of Warcraft Model Editing section. [NO QUESTIONS/REQUESTS HERE]

Ok guys this is LONG over due. What i want is for over the summer, for us to make a Model Editing video, like a show off vid. If you dont know what i mean, check out the Nogg-aholics videos, or MC Addicts. The idea is a collaboration video, so we dont all have to do our own seperate videos, but instead we all maybe make a couple of edits, and combine them together. Anyway, i really really want us to make one. So heres some things we could showcase:
-Area edits
-Custom models
-Anything cool that requires model editing
-Anything weird that happens from model editing (like a weird glitch or bug)
-Pretty much anything cool that you can model edit
Like heres an example. Im planning on, not sure how well it'll work, but making like a 'club' in World of Warcraft, where ill import some turntables, make a dance floor, and have everyone dancing. Also im thinking of making a football field too. Ive got some ideas, we can try them all.
Just for the record, if you want to use private servers that is fine, im going to cause i dont play live any more, just make sure if you do, w/e you do can be done with model editing, so we dont get any ney sayers.
The idea would be to have this done by the end of summer. We have some good video editors here (maybe you are one of them) that could help us edit the video and make it snazy, and i could probably mix the sound track on my turntables.
So what do you all think?

I like the idea. Really I like the whole concept. As for the movie itself, we just must include all possible and nice things that can be achieved with Model Editing. Although if I must say for myself, no weapon swaps like vengeful bonegrinder to the frostmourne, those edits are just simply to do and you barely notice that it is a "model edit" .
As for the video itself furthermore, area editing and custom buildings(?) are nice, but I think players would also love to see some nice weapon designs or armor designs, maybe a really noticeable reskin works out too?
O well, thing is, how do you want to record it ^^ unless you are able to afford paying for gamecam or fraps to remove the water mark and use the software to it's fullest, I don't got any other things left how to record it.

Just a kind of taste, bekus i'm more a person that likes to see Area changes then custom models. We just have to use every kind of Model Edit we have here exept for the eazy weapon swaps. I will make a short movie of my last areachange, i think it will fit very nice for a movie like this. Will send it to you when its finished.
Wow. I couldn't imagine having an "Mmowned" video out there to represent us like Nogg-aholic did... UNTIL NOW!
This is an awesome idea! We'll have to have some BG edits or something too. Maybe the campfire cheating trick? Some stuff people will be like "WTF!?.. HOW!???" and all that good stuff. Some of our best model edits and creations should go into it! ^_^

Yep, it's indeed a different kind of taste, whilst you prefer area edits, I prefer custom models. Nothing wrong with that, and it's good to have various edits but as said before, no swaps like zomgz starterz to vengefulzz or something like that.
And btw, anyone knows a nice and free proggy to record it ^^ wanna try some new things on a private server, think that's the best way to do it because most of them are fun and can get you instant good gear etc so you wouldn't have to swap everything specifically to your gear. And it's best to play on private too, because for said example, if Fault plays on the same one as me, we just share our MPQ and then we can both see the edits on how it looks like and we can discuss on how about implenting it in the movie etc.
O well, made my last model for now, gonna take a break with custom models and gonna do some easy editing, like sound swaps etc.

I agree. Area changes are much harder and better than custom models. But someone may have a really cool custom model, so that was my idea
