Probably the wrong title name but W/e anyway Ok i need some help i run BLP conveter and no PNG's come into the folder?? did i put the files in the wrong folder? (Ex. Blah blah > Blp > Blp) if someone could help +rep for help.

Edit: also when i run it it closes in less then a mili second

i got a better converter... will upload in a sec... all you have to do is run the .PNG file with the program and it will be converted

Edit: Umm its not working (Stupid vista >.<) BTW do i do (Right click BLP file Open,Use seleted installed programs,BLP2PNG)??

I think you missunderstand the whole usage of a converter, you never open the converter.exe yourself. you just drag the .blp/.png files you want converted ONTO the exe

And, BLPConverter is better then BLP2PNG, BLP2PNG doesn't reconise some BLP's, and it's more 'losy', so the more you convert with it, the more 'detail' you loose. BLPConverter also comes with alot of options, to counter that loss.

So just drag the file one by one onto BLPconverter.exe, or use a batch file for it;


How to make a batch file for BLPconverter;

Open Notepad, and type the folliwing line;

BLPconverter (location)/(genericfilename00_0)

For example

BLPconverter D:\Games\WoW\Project\UD\Character\Scourge\Female\FemaleLowerFace00_00

Then copy paste it as much as there are files, and change the file name apropriatly.

Then save your notepad as an (any file) with your name and .bat on the end like; Yenea.bat

do not make it .TXT then it will not work.

After you think everything is set right, just place the (name).bat file in the folder of BLPconverter, and click it!

(Vista might complain, just accept any warnings.)

Its a bit tedious to set up, but once you have one, its just a matter of using the 'replace with' function in notepad.

ya basically u drag ur blp file over the blp converter and it makes a png.
