[Question/Request] Couple questsions about X--> tauren edits, please help! - 02-21-2008

As much as I hate making one of these threads (I hate being a noob and asking dumb questions), but I've read all the guides I can find, and tried everything. Basically I have two problems, that kind of go with each other. I'm currently trying to do a Orc male ----> tauren male edit, and as I'm sure most of you are aware, the textures are very messed up (in fact there isn't even textures on the feet, tail, or hunchback). My other problem is I don't know how to copy extra .blp files. For instance, say I'm editing "1" to "2" (just an example). Well "1" has 6 .blp files, but "2" has 9 .blp files. How do I copy those extra 3 over?

So here's what I've done, I used Glitchy's MES to do the initial race edit. I then browsed through the Tauren folder (to find the files for the above untextured areas). I eventually came to:
Code:
TaurenMaleSkin00_00_Extra
TaurenMaleSkin00_03_Extra
TaurenMaleSkin00_06_Extra
TaurenMaleSkin00_09_Extra
TaurenMaleSkin00_12_Extra
TaurenMaleSkin00_15_Extra
TaurenMaleSkin00_18_Extra
I figured this was it, so what I did is I extracted all of those to a new file, then created a new MPQ and put "Character\Orc\Male\" in front of each one. Which didn't work, I then tried the same thing, instead I replaced "Tauren" with "Orc". Which also did not work.

So now I had no idea what to do next (I was sure that it was going to work). So I did a manual Orc--->Tauren edit via the Irfanview method. Which produced the same results.

I'm really sorry about posting this, but just know that I HAVE done research, and I just flat out can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance.
