I've been looking into adding the old rogue posion animation (Viewable in any pre 2.1 rogue pvp movie)

Pre patch 2.1 whenever a rogue applied a poison there would be a green glow on his hands and there was an animation played. 'ChannelCastDirected' This would overwrite any other body movement animation and have priority.
This was probably something way beyond what i could do but i decided to give it a shot anyway, had alook through some spells that could be related to applying the poison but no luck there.

So i attempted to change the animation on gouge, from whatever it is now to the 'ChannelCastDirected' but all i could find were spell effects rather than animations... Umm, the glow on the hands, and the effect on the target, in the example of gouge. the effect over the targets head.

So my question is, is it not possible to change the character spell animations, or am i simple just missing somthing? Does anyone have any infomation atall?
i know theres a thread where people want to change the gun/bow/xbow animations, this is probably along the same line too.

I'll have another look, theres some usefull infomaton on [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

If i do find anything i'll post back in this thread.
