I have a question reguarding this, I've gone to the maps folder and looked with no results for a folder containing the Karazhan tower adt directory. I've instance swapped before (Emerald Dream) but I just can't find the data for this instance.

I've done the .wmo change from the undercity to the physical tower itself, and I've climbed to the top of it but with no prevail in access to the instance.


I really want to get in there, can someone tell me where the .adt directory for Karazhan is?

(BTW this isn't for the nogg quest did it back before 1.11)

Heh, ADT is for land scapes. Terrain, mostly. Sometimes they contain WMOs to be loaded, but the WMO itself(Building files) are always seperate. This means that there are no ADT files for Kharazan.

There are ones however for the instance itself, there just not ingame yet.

Weve had the beta file for a long time, take those adts and apply them to the game if you so desire. Kharazan however has been revamped quite a bit over the ages, so it sorta depends on which version you are looking to recreate.

Hmm, something is wrong..
I simply extracted the Kharazan folder from my beta common.mpq and swithced the files with GoldshireInn, the tower is there but the ramp I used to walk up to get inside isnt, got no idea what I did wrong O.o

In my Kharazan > GoldshireInn MPQ there is 12 files renamed correctly and all that, then I took a look at an old .mpq I got from here and it contains lots of files (over a hundred), I have no idea what all those files are for and where they are from :< I can only find 12 Kharazan files and 13 GoldshireInn files, im confused :O any suggestions?

well i changed gs in to karazhan but its just the tower not the instance , I forgot to stealth when i was climbing up an edge of it and i guesse i was way in the sky so then a bucnha lowbies started asking me how to get there 0.o
