Just wanted to give people a heads up. There is a working fix for 2.3.2 floating around on some other sites but it has a keylogger. I know people are anxious to get the fix but be sure where's it's coming from and use something to scan it.

My comment was directed at the fact that they are all leechers, expecting the fix to be leaked. Beyond deserving it no one does, but at least kynox agreed to share it with the contributers and donators.

Sorry I don't have the time troll forums all day and answer questions or time to post public model edits. But apparently that makes me less deserving then you. Then why not donate you ask? Cause I won't support a site that has morons like u running their mouth all the time. If kynox set up his own payment system i'd pay him 5 times what it costs to contribute here.

And just an FYI kynox posted on a post here yesterday saying that he didn't like the way this site handled the leak with the 2.3 fix and that this site is making money off his work. So maybe YOU won't get this fix.

i think most people would agree , that the "elitist" editor shit is really getting old
you really need to come down to earth and realize that we are putting ourselves at just as much ****ing risk with blizzard as you are by editing models, oh no im so sorry that i have more of a life than sitting around with my finger in my ******* editing models all day, and then posting them for people to praise me about.
ive learend enough about editing from people who are actually HELPFUL (thanks to fault, pullefjun and schlumpf) not just condemning.

the fix is going to last until the next patch, and it will break again. no sooner just because some people have it who didnt happen to contribute to a website.

It's also kinda difficult for people to contribute model edits when they can't currently log on to test their work due to not having the fix.

Fine, let me clear some things up. The leak was not from mmowned and rather another WoW Development site where it was posted previously. I don't have an elitest attitude about all this, I was just mentioning that the fix has been completed and that it hasn't been uploaded yet.

Kynox requested that the fix not get posted for the leechers because of how your user group uses it, namely PvP edits. I can bring up about 50+ threads of people requesting edits for battlegrounds, arena and more. I don't troll all day, nor do I answer questions as much as I used to. So that doesn't make you less deserving that you can explain how to do something, I base the non-deserving factor on how it's request and spammed about over and over. So don't get all defensive. Kynox's paypal is posted in the contributor section thread about the 2.3 fix and several people have donated to him.

If you choose not to donate that's fine, if you don't like me thats fine as well but you seemed to have taken me the wrong way. I would love people to use model editing for a GOOD cause, it's not here for you to gain advantages (and I'm not saying you do, it's just a generalization that's applied to your group), it's here for you to create, discover and enjoy what your imagination can conceive. If no one had the desire or need to exploit than I would be all for the fix being public, but it's exploitive nature is far too prevelant.

I didn't mean to come off as elitist, the fix is getting released on at least 4 forums which is a combined by a small network of model editing groups. Kynox requested that it not be released to you guys, so if your going to get mad at us enforcing his request than by all means continue.
