Since the MEfix became unavailable to the public, i.e me, I have seen alot of people saying they were searching the net for one but were not successful (post 2.3.2).

Is there any tips anyone can give me for 'creating' my own MEFix? I assume it will be hard and perhaps not possible for someone such as myself with low knoledge of such things. However, a nod in the right direction would be helpful. I hate my Troll looks too much to sit here and do nothing.

Well i would gladly assist you in making one The problem is im no expert in this area myself . And i asume it requirers Years of expertise to make such program SO i'd advice to not bother trying >_< Anyway i understand that the people who put so much work in to making such program don't want it abused , Oh well cant blame them i geuss , A loss for te littleman once again :P

from what i gather blizzard keep changing its addresses in the ram.

i start programing this semester so i *might* be able to tell you what that means in a few months <_<

What I assume you are saying is they are changing the pointers in their codes to point to another address in memory, thus rendering the previous fix broken.

Step-by-Step :
1) Learn C++ (advanced, not just beginner C++, takes about 1-19 years)
2) The 2.3.2 Model Editing Fix must have been uploaded in these 1-19 years!
3) Done !

Yes, but WoW is still only loading it's base MPQs, the fix allowed you to load custom ones.

It's not just something one can learn in spare time then, I guess. I assume that donating to the site offers alot more than just the MEFix when it becomes available? Either way, it's starting to look like the most logical option.

Mainly because I view this site every day and yet contribute nothing, a little money goes a long way.

There are plenty of C++ tutorials on the internet, along with free compilers (the things that turns your code into a working program).

Just remember that a real hacker/programmer would never let a program that could destroy things on a mass scale go out into the public, espescially with the 500 tutorials about how to exploit the said "fix" floating around as well.

Its one thing to make your night elf have huge tits (I approve), but its another to rape the honor system.

However, creating a "fix" for this program would be very simple, espescially now that the source was posted on forums by the origional creator.

I'm sure MMOWNED will rake in thousands of $$ from clueless kids dieing to get the patch though.
