I was just posting to see if it was possible to make it look like you're always on foot. Like sprinting of the Boots from WSG or something. I think it looks awesome when you're just goin on foot at 100% speed. Wanted to do that with my mount. Not to mention i don't like the way my mount looks. TY

I once got the effect (due to a misstake) so that it looked like I was on
foot, only problem was, I had the mount buff but no mount nor mountspeed.
I would guess experimenting with transparency perhaps,
or swapping for an invalid model. Not sure though!

I am using the paladin mounts. At the moment i am only 49, so the normal paladin mount. and my character is a draenei female if that matters. I wish I understood this stuff well enough to do it on my own. I got the idea when I was in AB and grabbed the boots out of the stables. I thought it looked neat just haulin ass like that. And wished i could do it all the time.

if you change the spell.dbc. find the creature id in the spell used for the mount and try changing the ID to zero or something it might work-or it might just make you a checkered box... isnt there a spell that gives you extra speed besides a mount? (I dont play enough) If there were you could just replace the mount spell with that one. if you are running a private server you could make it a spell you start with that when clicked gives you xtra speed for x ammount of time. that sounds like a keen idea. I might look into it later on. good luck. this sounds interesting. I would like to make something like this for a quick escape, doesnt last long but has a long cool down. something every race starts with. call it "run like hell" er something. Course if you were running a server you could just change the speed of the race and the animation would be what you want. I think.

There are a few things that make you run the correct speeds like being mounted, A rogues sprint is one, and there are speed boots in WSG and AB that make you run at 100% like an epic riding mount. Either of the animations for those could be used, the sprint one for the 60 horse, and the boots for the 100% mount.

Hey there Fire, and the rest of the community. Just thought i'd check back in and see if anyone had given this a shot yet. ATM I am using the Paladin Epic Charger, I am Draenei Female.
