[Question]Editing spells - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides

Ok, what i want to do is take SPELLS\Shadow_ImpactBuff_Base.m2 and swap the Skull in the spell to the CurseofAgony_Head.m2 skull. What programs do i need and is there an existing guide that correlates with what i'm attempting to do?

You need My Warcraft Studios, findable in the Guides & Programs section of this forum.
A guide on how to do that is posted in the Guides & Programs section, too. It is started by Ebon, so use the advanced searchfunction to find it.

1) Find the spell you want to change
2) Copy its treepath with MyWarcraftStudio
3) Find the NEW SPELL you want to change the old spell to
4) Extract it into a folder
5) Rename it to what your OLD spell is, just the name none of the /*****/****
6) Make a New Patch
7) Pack it with the .M2 model you extracted
8) when they name has come up on the box, copy all that /*****/**** BEFORE the name of the .m2 file
9) press ok
10) = result

no, i know how to do basic simple crap like that, what i'm asking is this. I want to take an existing spell and edit a portion of it, but keep everything else the same. I want to swap the skull models for this spell but keep the same animation:

With some knowledge of how Reskinning works, it should be able with that. Photoshop should make your wish come true, since I do not know how to cut a thing out of an other. Try reskinning this Fear effect or what you've got there.

I'm almost positive a simple reskinning won't work either since it's dealing with animations. The spells i'm working with don't have .blp's to work with anyways so reskinning prolly isn't even possible. I need to be able to tweek an existing spell, changing how one aspect of it appears, but keeping the majority of the spell the same. Like say for example, I take Arcane Explosion and instead of just having the generic BOOM effect, i add in the Fel Armor animation above the selected target. Basically splicing together spell animations.

noone? =/ Ok, what about changing Avenging Wrath into Shadow Form? I'm guessing this requires DBC editing since there isn't an M2 file for Shadow Form?
