[Question] No Model Changes working for me - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides

Hi I recently tried to using the model edit to change the model of a character I had a Undead to Blood elf but when i did it crashed and gave me an error. It was then the same when I tried for any of the others. Also I was wondering if this was bannable by blizzard and if anyone has been banned for it. Thanks.

No one has been banned yet because its only changing the look of something, the only things you can get banned for is "making" objects or removing them

Example : Removing WSG Gates so you can get out really early so it gives you an advantage

Try using model edit fix, the thread is on the Model Editing page, you need to put that in your WoW Folder and whenever you run WoW, it has to be thru modeleditlive.exe.

I get to the last step and then im stuck , I tryed the .fix file and when I use it and try to log on it tells me that It cannot validate game version and there might be file corruption, but when I dont use it I get all the way to looking at my male gnome and then I get the above error... Im so confused..

Run ModelEditFix, press End before u log in, then press home just when ur char is about to apear

Thats exactly what i do. I get the same error as above, Corrupt / wrong version (similair)

yeah you need modeleditfix, wont work in 2.2.3 or whatever next patch is

Update : i finally think i got the char edit right, but when i ran the fix etc, logged in, as soon as the Char screen came up..WoW error.

model editing has been completly nerfed in 2.3, reguardless to the exceptions of this thread. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

No, it has been nerfed in 2.3 .. On live servers its possible.

thats weird, im trying to do it now on real servers and im getting the effects of the nerf.

Make sure your WoW and Model Edit Fix are as up to date as possible. There isn't anything big stopping you from doing the easy edits atm. They ALL work.

You're not getting the effects of any nerf yet...thats in patch 2.3
right now the reason some of you are getting Wrong version etc is because you are not pressing end before you hit enter to log in...and the reason you are getting errors when it gets to the char screen is because you are not hitting home before it gets to the char screen...somewhere between when you hit enter and the switch of the screen is when you must hit home...simple as that
