Its legal yes and also against the TOS but not unless you get caught by showing off your edits or exploiting them like old campfire->dark portal or ADT edits in the middle of orgrimmar.And if you get caught you will most likely get temp ban if your playing retail maybe even no ban if your lucky.

Any thing to do with WoW is legal. It isn't against the law to hack or model edit . . . .

Theres probably a small chance of being caught since it's client side so only you can see it.

Like i said campfire-> dark portal is visible to other people because you will appear levitating to them.And ADT edits can give it away to very easily.

Okay by Legal I meant is it Legal by terms of the EULA or TOS...

then no it is against the TOS but you wont get banned unless you do something stupid
