Hey guys, i recently started playing with models and i have a problem. NOTHING happens when i make MPQs with changed data. Here's an example:
I made an MPQ in which i changed colors (the .blp) for draenei hair:




I saved it as 'Patch-3.MPQ' in my D:\World of Warcraft\Data folder

The result: (Opened with ModelChange.exe)




As you can see, Hair00_06 is still blue :| this is what happens to everything i make. It just gets ignored by the game. It's really freaking me out ^_^

I hope my problem is clear and that you can help me out

i think i know what you did you only made a mpq for one hair style try changing the styles until you find the one you changed

No that's not it, i tried all hairstyles already :|

I'm not quite sure why it doesn't work but it could be cause you just extracted a Blood Elf hair file and tried to put it in the Draenei folder...

You mean you think the name is incorrect? I'm sure I gave it exactly the same name as the original draenei hair, so that can't be it either
