We're geting this question quite frequently, so I decided to make a simple guide. I uploaded the rapidsahre link myself, its clean and works fine.
:HOW TO MAKE MODEL EDITS WORK:
- Download this! [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
- Unpack it with winrar, [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
- Put ALL the unpacked files in your \World Of Warcraft\ directory
- Download your model edit
- Name it anything from patch-# (# = 1-9) or patch-x (x = a-z)
- Place your model edit in your \World Of Warcraft\Data\ directory
- Go to \World of Warcraft and;
1) Open wowme.cfg (I use notepad)
1.1) Delete everything and type in the name of your model edit (patch-#.MPQ)
1.2) Save wowme.dfg and close it.
2) Delete scan.dll
- Run WoWME.exe
- Log in and play the game. Your model edit now works.
