i changed my tauren to a night elf but his helmet is too big for his head his skin is still tauren and his face is weird and he has hooves help
this is what happend

Happend to me too, when changing Tauren > Blood elf.
Just go into options and take Show Helmet off.

Yes you have to model change the tauren helmet size into the night elf size and that should help you

If you cant figure that out post again and ill do it for you

i have no idea how to do it and thank you but do you know how to fix the skin as well?

I think I was told somewhere you have to edit the scale DBC file. The skin you have to transfer over just like the model. I can't help you with dbc editing but notice that there is a CHARACTER and a Character folder in common.mpq... you have to edit both. Use batch renamer for the skins. This also transfers hair.

yea i transferd both some of the taurens skin is night elf and some is tauren any way to change skin via dbc or something?

It happens because of this: When you create a character, say a tauren, you choose different options, say fur color, face, etc, well these all have numbers. say i choose black and white fur , this could be like number 12 or something, well that will not be a number for night elf, so, you are changing the model, yet keeping the same number that you chose for the tauren, so it will put in those numbers over the model you chose. You can get some very cool effects by doing this. If you find the right numbers to put in the right spots, you can create almost new looking races. SO, if you wanted, you should be able to change the numbers in a certain file... players.save , and when you log back in, it SHOULD be what you entered, and i am pretty sure it has to be in the most recent players.save .
