Question kara ADT or WMO? - 07-05-2008

Ok, so I'm working on a kara from start to chess edit to do an request and I can't seem to edit it with noggit or any other programs. At first i thought it was because it was an instance. A day later a ramps exploit is released. This greatly confused me as to what An instance is made of.
Is a raid instance created from a different type of data than a normal 5 man? Note i have read the guides. Please don't bash me to hard if I'm ignorant on the subject.

Karazhan is a WMO file. All larg game objects are WMO files.
You may slightly edit a WMO file using WME (WoWMapEditor) You can get it in the programs stickie. Read the guides in your WME folder, and see what you can do.
You can remove collision in the wmo using WME, for an example you can make a wall walk-through-able. Might be some ADT tiles in Kara, but i don't think so.

Karazhan - and nearly all instances that weren't very recently made, in fact - is comprised of both WMO and ADT.

Karazhan proper is a WMO. This deals with the instance itself, but not the "scenery". Basically, uninstanced areas are ADT, and you can see them from the instance but generally not access them... legitimately.

Instanced Karazhan's ADT files are in world/maps/karazahn.
Its WMOs are in world/wmo/dungeon/az_karazahn.

Because of people using exploits before, many more walls were created, and there's lots of collision inside the instance. The only way I can figure to get out was to move one of the WMO files - I used WME to move Kharazan_instance_003.wmo to the side slightly. This is the staircase at the beginning of the instance, that you head up on the way to Moroes.
