Question [Question] BLP unknown errrrror - 05-20-2008

so heres what i did,
Extracted BLP file from MWCS,

used a blp to png converter and converted the file to RGB
and then edited the Original file in Photoshop
then before i saved it i Indexed colors option
then used converter to turn my PNG to a BLP
and inserted it into the game using MWCS instead of the original file..with the same path..

this normally works fine with all my edits, however in place of my edits all that showed up was black squiqly lines all over the body in the areas that i edited..
what is wrong? how can i fix it?88

SOrry for my slow responce, I think it is because the original colour count.

16xmilion 32x milion 8x milion 256 color and such is messed up, some textures are sensitive to this.

Check the differance between the original, unedited, and the edited version.

Then, change the edited version to be as much alike the original with how much colours it has, or wether or not there is an alpha channel.

Also try to see if you do or donot have removed something important from the file.

Mostly this will solve your problem. If it doesn't, give me the MPQ, and I will look into the problem for you.
