Help Skinning Question-Sea Lion Form - 05-20-2008

I've been working on a recolor for sea lion form, and after following a few guides, I cannot get them to display in game;
Here's what I do:

Open Warcraft Studio, find Sealion, copy tree path.
Create new Mpq archive, add file, paste the tree path (Creature/SeaLion/HordeSeal.blp) and add the blp of the new skin I've made.
I save the achive, but on the left hand side there's no new files.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I am going wrong? (is vista doing it? >.>)

Well.. I see why it isn't working... Did You check patch-S.MPQ on what files are in it, AFTER you packed it?

It's an empty corupted file... Recreate it, and then test it again.

By the way, what tree-path are you using for your HordeSeal?

I can't seem to find it.

I'm using Creature/Sealion as the tree path, but when I create the mpq and add files there's no file directory shown. I'm going to try this on a non vista computer to see if that is a reason.

well, I've tried it on another computer.
I open common.mpq, copy the treepath Creature/SeaLion and then go to create a new archive.
I then add new files with the the treepath Creature/SeaLion/HordeSeal.blp.
The left hand side of the screen where the folders are displayed in the game provided mpqs remains blank. I've also tried CREATURE/SeaLion, and just pasting the treepath with out the edited blp on the end. No file directory still.

Turns out that was the problem. We forget simple things sometimes. =)
