Hi, this is kinda a request and a question thread at the same time...


I was wondering if anyone can help me out, recently i downloaded a Frostwolf Howler > Spectral Tiger mount swap, and all i had to do was put the Patch-x.mpq file into my data folder and it worked, now heres the request

Could anyone do the Purple Skeletal Warhorse > Armani Warbear mount swap but have it so all i have to do is put it in the data folder and it works, with no programs or anything?

Also, ive seen the thread about Vengeful Gladiator's swords > Warglaives and was wondering if that is also possible by just putting the patch-x.mpq file into the data folder with no programs?

it does belong here , you must use a Model Edit Fix for patches no matter what sorry to say,

Ok thanks alot, how come it worked without a program before?

You can use the old hex edits for weapons and armor, it bypasses MPQ/MEF but you still use have to use a program to fix the hex code. doesnt work with mounts though sorry.

Edit: you can just add [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to your C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enUS folder
delete your old itemcache should work fine

s3 swords -> warglaves

Wow thanks alot man, is there anyway i can make this so it only shows me having the warglaives rather than everyone else with S3 swordS?

Nope. What it does is simple: Every time wow loads s3 swords, it will get the warglaive model and textures. There's no way to make it so its only yours.

Ps: Wicked, i know this is only a Weapon Swap, but put credit next time you copy paste something i did in another thread in an attempt to get some rep.

no sorry like every other edit it shows it from everything that shares the same model.
kinda kills the cool factor
