Question Two questions. - 02-07-2007

I've been working on first, a full female tauren to draenei conversion, and have almost everything, including almost all helm changes to fit a draenei head (there are a few in patch.mpq I think I missed), plus a change to my personal face, skin color and hairstyle... what I'm working on are the voices now. Could anyone link me to a race change for voices that they've completed and has worked so I have something to reference to try to fix my mess of files? Would be much appreciated ^.^

Second is I'm having mount sizing issues when I swap from 100% kodo to talbuk... it obviously looks like I'm running around on one of those plastic toy horses on springs that kids have. It's cute, but also a bit ridiculous to see a male tauren (which I haven't swapped) run past me on one of these downsized toys. I have seen tips that DBC could do this? But despite a lot of searching for a guide, it has so far eluded me, nor do I understand DBCs well enough to sift through all the numbers and data to figure it out myself... so again, links or tips would be much appreciated if resizing is even possible. ^.^;

Same here, I managed to change the attack sounds, but I can't seem to find the actual voice files that say 'out of range' or 'not enough mana/rage' and the few other voice files anywhere in the Sound directory of common.mpq. If anyone could point me in the direction of these sound files would be much appreciated.

Btw attack sounds are in Sound/Character/PlayerExertions/RaceSex folders, can do the normal export/rename and import into a new .mpq and attack sounds will change.

You're not going to find a guide on DBC editing. Each DBC is so vastly different from each other, no one guide can encompass them all. Besides, it's fun to figure out the DBC files.

Anyway, CreatureDisplayInfo can fix it, but since you can't do DBC, you're screwed.

Yea... this is an insanely old thread that I can't believe was brought back from the dead. I figured out virtually everything as far as voices go, and even how to put the draenei horns in so the holes wouldn't show, and since I know scaling for characters is done via server side, I just simply returned my kodo to what it is, a great white kodo... helped since I was pissing off people by covering up NPCs with its fat ass and not realizing it.
