Help [Question] Photoshop editing - 04-11-2008

Hello. I am practicing in editing the colors ect in photoshop ect.

But same of the textures got like a "layer" over it. Some squares so i almost cant see anything at all.

Picture:

Anyway to remove that?

Would be really nice.

Looks like a transparent image, the alternating colored squares is the background when your image is transparent (See-through). You don't want those to go away

Although you could put a TEMPORARY black or white layer (Just dump it with paint bucket) and put it behind the main layer so all the stuff shows up... then delete it after you're done editing.

Thats what I do, you can also change the transparency of the background.

I find saving the image as a Jpeg fixes that, then when im done editing it I will just save it back to a .PNG file

I think .png are way better than .jpeg, .pngs have great quality and a small size.
