Swap only player model? - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides

Hi there,

i tried out to swap the model of my Tauren male into a Nightelf male.
Everything works well with Glitchy´s MES except the Model Resizer tool :/

-I extracted the TaurenMale.m2 out of my patch-#.mpq
-tried to shrink the model for 0,5; 2; 5; 100
-added the new (modded) TaurenMale.m2 to my ptach-#.mpq

nothing happens

i´m using Glitchy´s MES 2.4 and wowMe 2.4.1

Another thing i saw is that "Krymu", a famous Nightelf rogue, uses a model change (Nightelf -> Undead/Scourge) as well... BUT...
In one of his vid´s he´s duelling against another Nightelf who has still his old model °_°
How is this possible?

As far as i know if he did a race swap, all NeM would look like Scourge. If he was duelling a Female NE then that explains why it still looks like a NE.

can´t find a good screenshot of Krymu...

He´s normally playing a gnome!

sry...
i just saw that serennia is playing a female gnome and the warlock in the picture is a male gnome ^^

But i still can´t fix my problem with the model resizer tool.

You could also try to find a guide on it. I'm not sure if there is a guide specific enough for what you are trying to do. You probably made a small mistake somewhere, but I don't know.

I don't think their is a way to currently do what he is asking for, but if he can find a SS to prove otherwise... Until then.

Yea im sort of having the same problem. I used glitchy's MES and WoWME 2.4 and i did everything right same as previous patches and it just doesnt change. Could it be with the WoWME or something because i tried doing it manually too by DLing the MPQ's and helm fixes and still nothing. When it was workin for pre-2.4.

It worked fine for my custom model and some creature swaps I've done. I haven't tried character model resizing specifically, but it should work and I've seen a few others get it.

you can change it by it self using the m2modder in cryects tools and DBC editing

EDIT: not sure bout the whole m2modder bit but DBC editing can do character only
