Help Need help with MEF - 04-02-2008

So i've been using wowme since before 2.1, and now i just can't seem to get it to work. I've never had to use the cfg file, but i gave it a whirl and still no-go. My in-game models just appear as if nothing has happened to them.

I've browsed the forums for about 3 days now and nothing i've read has fixed the problem.

Anyone care to lend a hand?

There is no .cfg file in the MEF. There is one in wowme.exe. If you are having trouble opening the .cfg file, right click on it and click open with and choose notepad or something. Can you give any more details?

Thats the 2.4 versions. He hasn't released the 2.4.1 version yet. I'm not sure if the old version still works, but I think the maker of the wowme.exe made his program public, since its already getting out to google searches and stuff.

Whoops, my bad. It was wowme that i was having the problem with, sorry for the confusion.

I have the patchs typed correctly in the cfg file "patch-A.MPQ", and it doesn't seem to load whenever i start up WoW, i simply log in and i still see my normal character.

I've tried Chazz's fix, but it still ends up with the same result.

Do you log all the way on, it might not show up on the character selection screen?

Also it could be a problem with your patch. Which patch are you using? Is it a known patch?

when ur using wowme 2.4.1 ( or other version´s ), make a patch-x.mpg with clitchy´s or any other working model edlit suite, store it in ur wow/data folder .... open the wowme.cfg just typ "patch-x.mpg" .. save ! run wowme, when u reached the login screen .. hit F8 and login. Have Fun

it works fine for me !

So I made Undead to Orc male in glitchy's MES, put it in my data folder, and wrote "patch-0.mpq" (i've also tried patch-0.MPQ) in my cfg file (like i have been) and opened wowme, pressed F8, logged in and my undead... was still an undead.

I'm using 2.4.1, btw.

Yeah sadly none of my model edits are working anymore. Checked all over the forum and nothing i try seems to solve it.

Got the most up to date version of Chazwazza's Fix and my WoWME worked fine in 2.4 just 2.4.1 causing problems.

Chaz's Fix simply gives me the message "Error: Could not find WoW.exe. Would you like to launch it and autopatch? (Must be run from WoW directory)

I click: Yes

WoW opens but i am left witht he message: "WoW version mismatch, please download and updated model edit fix"

I'm guessing we just have to wait for the 2.4.1 Model Edit Fix update from Chaza :>

In which folder must Wowme be stored? And how do you open the program?
