[Question] Is it possible to change which hand the character is holding a weapon? - MMOwned - World of Warcraft Exploits, Hacks, Bots and Guides

Hey

Is it possible to change which hand the character is holding a weapon?

My goal is to completely remodel my S3-crossbow to the Illidan Bow. When it comes to the animation, it can be fixed with Glitchy's MES; and then you can make a simple .m2-swap to make the Crossbow look like the bow.

BUT..

When I do this, the character insists on holding the Bow in the RIGHT hand, when he's supposed to hold it in the LEFT hand. So when he actually shoots with the Bow-animation it looks very weird since he's holding the Bow in the wrong hand.

So once again; Is it possible to change which hand the character is holding a weapon?

Here i tried a couple things with the model you gave in the other thread. try each mpq. Even if one works see if it has any bugs. Because what i did was i swapped the chrs left hand with his right hand. I'm hoping this doest mess any thing else up ^^

patch-b -> The character holds the bow in the left hand as he should; Amazing ;) - But when you equip a real bow, he holds it in the right hand since the hands are swapped, it's the same with 2handers and so on, but this doesn't matter at all ;)
patch-c -> Character holds the bow in the right hand, so this one didn't work really.

patch-d -> Exactly the same as patch-b as far as I can tell, it's working great ;)

May I ask what parameters you changed in b & d to make it work? So I can try on it myself for other Races if I want to make a racechange.

Been gone for a while now and I just got the urge to try this out.

Just facing a problem on a NE male to even start working with it: Which program do I use to open the .m2 to get all those parameters visible? Is it Hex?
