Complete Guide to Downgrading World Of Warcraft from ANY VERSION down to 1.0.0
<Step 1>
Back up your WoW directory to somewhere that is safe.By default, its located in Local Disk C:/ < Program Files < World Of Warcraft
<Step 2>
Open up your WoW Directory
<Step 3>
In the WoW directory, enter the DATA folder. (Local Disk C:/ < Program Files < World Of Warcraft < Data.)
<Step 4>
Delete the files labeled Patch.mpq, Patch-2.mpq, Patch-3.mpq (If Patch-2 or Patch-3 Isnt in there, its O.K.) DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING ELSE IN THE WoW DIRECTORY!!!
<Step 5>
Download the 1.0.0 WoW .exe from one of the links at the bottom of this post.
<Step 6>
In the ROOT of the World Of Warcraft folder (Local Disk C:/ < Program Files < World Of Warcraft) Place the file that you just downloaded. It will ask you if you would like to Overwrite the current WoW Icon. Choose "Yes".
<Step 7>
Open up NoGGIT and have some fun.
<Step 8>
When you are done using NoGGIT or w/e this whole downgrade was for, just take your backed-up copy of WoW and replace the edited one.

Reason: Added link and a detailed Guide.
Here, I am downloading a version I found on Filefront. Seems to be downloading ok *It's Version 1.12 full* [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I found it using this site: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I really dont see this working, because Common.mpq after BC (i believe) contains all the stuff from all the pre-bc patches, like ZG, AQ, etc. IDK could be wrong, if i am lemme know
"If I and everyone else could contribute to MMOwned like you do it would be a terrific place." Don't PM me with request, only Questions

Think you are right as ZG AQ Naxx Mara(think it was added in some early patch)
Are in Common.MPQ but you might be wrong as ZG and AQ were in the game since Beta. And there are Coilfang stuff in Common.MPQ not sure wtf blizz done with Gamefiles.
Alright, just did this. Didn't work at all, nogg-it instantly crashes. Also can't get into WoW.
Edit: I guess I should give more information than "It doesn't work" - I did EXACTLY as the guide said, I was left with "Common.MPQ" and "Expansion.MPQ" - Replaced the WoW.exe, when I tried going in the .exe it says I'm missing "fmod.dll" - and won't even load up. When I try to run the 1-1.12 patch, it says I'm missing the Interface.MPQ. I also tried deleting expansion.mpq, and it did nothing.
I'm gonna try to find my old WoW CD's and see if that will do it, I don't doubt this guide works, just not degrading a current version.
