The problem im having is that when i open MWCS, and open the common.MPQ file, nothing shows up on the panel to the left side. The file is 3+gbs but nothing will show up, and i have the filter set to show All file. Any responses?

I can't find MyWarcraftStudio anywhere to download! >=(

Every time i try this i open MyWarCraftStudio and then click the open file button, find the "data" folder and click on "common.MPQ" the path to "common.MPQ appears where it previously said "open wow's mpq file first" but in the space below where the folders and such are supposed to appear there is nothing, if i try to open a patch i already have it shows folders/subfolders... but when i click on some of the .m2 files it says it has encountered a problem and needs to be shut down.... there are like 20 other people asking for help on this exact same problem... and still no way to fix has been posted... does this mean that no-one who has ever had this problem has ever got past it??? am i and many others like me doomed to stare at a blank sidebox untill we get bored???

and now i bring the answer to my own (and many others) Question!!!

it still has a problem thing that ill explain in purple text later... for the moment..

STEP BY STEP:

i initiated my fishing bot and cast out into google...
upon reterning from a hearty meal i checked my backpack.. to find whole lot of crap and this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
i DL'd this and extracted the things into a new folder on my desktop...
then i opened the folder =O
i selected the two things and dragged them into the mywarcraftstudio folder... i then got a message asking if i would like to replace the folders already in there with these names with the new ones...
i figured it couldnt really hurt... the program already wasnt working... so i clicked yes

opened mywarcraftstudio... got annoyed and exited mywarcraftstudio kuz it still didnt work... havnt slept in the last 3 nights... so i opened it again to double check my eyes... it worked!!!

PS: not entirely sure whether it worked the first time or not... but it definately worked the second time... anyways, ON TO THE PURPLE TEXT!!!

THOUGH (for Draaygon) I DO BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN MERELY RIGHT CLICK ON THE .M2 FILE AND CLICK "COPY TREEPATH"

Soo... I left my fishing bot doing what it does just to see if it could come up with anything else usefull... sadly... nothing... but more crap... but then... right when I least expected it... a Google(c) GM came a-whispering!!! I flew to my keyboard and hit the autorun key... dissapearing into the background... unawares that something new had taken the bait... as I sat down to relax in front of my awesome bowl of triple-chocolate-ice-cream-with-caramel-swirl I noticed the extra weight in my backpack... i searched around... discarding crap as i did so.. when out popped two links!!! ...GOLDEN LINKS...and... well... since they worked so awesomely at solving all of "my" problems... i figured hell... why not share em with you guys??

i also have the problem with changing characters into npcs, where the model changes but theres no skin, and it stays a grey model. maybe the OP's post worked because the beholder has a skin inside the model, so you dont have to import one of those too. ancient of war (what i tried) has 3 options for skins and shows up grey when in-game.

LOL jesus, I am EPIC failing here. I follow everything, it works perfectly but when i log into wow, the thing i tried to switch is combined with the other thing (bassically i tried to switch a Broken and a Fel Orc and i get this blob thing lol). i am trying to do this in Wrath on Toxic WoW's private server, if that makes a difference. If anyone knows why this is occuring comments would be much appreciated
