so first off i'd like to thank glitchy and friends for making such an amazing program. i've been model swapping etc the hard way for quite awhile, but i've run into a few problems while using this... but have had 100% success with every MOUNT swap i've tried to do, but races ..

race swap~~ when I try to do this everything goes great until I log into the game. I open wow using the WoWME fix thing and I press f8, enter acct etc, but then as soon as I get to char selection or SEE a character with the model of what I switched (ie if I switched blood elf male to undead male as soon as I see a blood elf male) i crash. I don't know what the problem is, and everything looks fine in my wow model viewer, (ie the BE looks like UD) (since it looks ok it might be a MEF error, if someone could provide a link on a working one for 2.4 <3)

animation swap~~ so, when I try to find the m2 files I know where to look, take em out of common.mpq with MyWarcraftStudio, except I have yet to find a working version of my warcraft. everytime i try to open common.mpq nothing happens

spell swap~~ game crashes upon startup, something having to do with a corrupt file

Great work! Love it, + rep if I'm able to. Btw, when reskinning weapons, put so you can make it in/visible, e.g. My axes to fury weapons make me see the fury weapons in my holster ;P

can anyone help me? i was trying to do a mount switch and i set up my path to wow/data then i clicked change the undead epic horse to a silithid and converted it but when I log into wow the background is green and when i try to log in it gives me an Error about failing to open something for a Night Elf Inn

It seems like a good program, thanks. But I still can't get it to work, I'm proboably doing something wrong, here's what I do:


I first make the patch through 'Glitchy's Model Editing Suite' ( I named it patch-1.MPQ), then 1: I open MyWarcraftStudio.exe and leave it for what it is, I don't open any programs or anything in MyWarcraftStudio.exe, I just run the program.
Then, 2 I open World of Warcraft, I hit F8 and enter my account information and enter the game. Then, while loading my character list it says 'Fout', which is a dutch word for 'Error'.

Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

how are you lost? it's simple as it is, and there's even a help file included with the program itself.

I love the race to race swap but just curious on if there's anyway to change the hairstyle after I changed my race-race. Just not very satisfied with the hair...

You don't use mywarcrafttudio for the model edit fix. You use modeleditfix.exe or wowme.exe. My Warcraft Studio is just for putting the data in patches.

Sorry for posting in the wrong thread before

This program is amazing, I've been having great fun with the WDB editor and the Mount swap, but I've had some trouble with the Race to Race. I swapped Undead Female to Human Female fine, even if she still had the undead hair I could live with that. However when I did a Tauren Female to Draenai Female, the hair ended up bright green with no texture. I've gone through the 'How to change your hair colour/style' but they don't seem to deal with how to swap a missing texture

Any help appreciated

Hai, i got a problem with weapon changing, i tried chaning my weapon into various other weapons, it works but when the weapon is sheated, it's not visible.
I'm pretty sure i've done everything correct cus with the last version it worked. O_o

ok now i tried changing it, but the weapon dissapeared 100% : / Need some help fast!

First of all..

GREAT APP!!
I just got one problem which i probably did bymself hehe..

I tried to change Male Troll to a Male Undead.. but somehow i got the error the file was corrupt..

Is this because MES isnt compatible with the patch...?
Or because i did something wrong.
Cause i know it worked but now it aint working anymore and i did update it.

Nvrmind i found out what went wrong needed a new MEF.
