Unfortunately only about 20% of the Racechanges work. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt. Cant figure out why it doesnt work. But theres one hint you can see if the mpq works or not. If you put the convert helmet function a good .mpq has about 100.000 kb of data. a corrupt file has only 15k of data (just like a file qithout helmetfix). These small files never work.

make sure you have the most recent version. Also if all else fails wait for the new version witch will be out tommorow 1/29/2008 witch will fix Vista problems it will also greatly reduce the time it takes to make the Files

Hi glitch ur awnser was that i needed to wait for the vista fix. But im not running vist. Windows XP professional.

I used your program a long while ago. (only the race to race). And because of that some programs entered my data folder and wow folder.

And could you give some more information about. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Because i think i already have it but your not saying what version or whatever.

The programm is very smart, but you could earn a bit more reps if you would post a guide for that, because you have to work long with it, to understand everything.

hey,

so finally i got the mef... but i´ve got one question: what now? what do i have do to do with the mef?

i got no problem with creating a list nor to convert it, but if i´m going to start wow with the normal launcher nothing happens. I think it´s because i do something wrong with the mef.

and what should i do with the created list?

sorry for my english, i´m german.

Thats because those version are different for each type of windows you run.... I cant tell you what version to get as i don't know what type of windows you have. This is something that you should be aware of.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what is going on.. Im running vista just got the new version and everything ok i made my list and i choose the paths and where to save it i convert it converts and says have ur cake or w/e then get on wow and nothing has changed....what am i missing?

As with all Model edits you have
1.Name the File patch-#.mpq Replace the # with a number or letter any is fine
2.Put your file in your wow data folder
3.Run the wow model edit fix to enable the edit.

wait u just confused me now i have mef and everything i just downloaded ur new vista version. This is what happens step by step.
1.I click open folder to select my wow data folder.
2.I click where to save the mpq
3.I choose my toons race wich is a nightelf male.
4. I choose what to convert it to wich is a nightelf female.
5. I click helmet fix
6. Convert.
I let it convert till it says done and to eat my cake or whatever then get on wow and nothing has happened what am i doing wrong?

Few different errors here maybe this will help others maybe not but I can not use the applicaiton still.









That is following everything step by step I still can't get past the unknown error so I went ahead and tested it on my XP box as well, Same exact error. So I'll keep testing but there must be something I am missing. Both are up to date with dot up to 3.5. I will redo the pictures with thumbnails to avoid stretching the page and increasing load time.
