Make sure you have the following programs:
My warcraft studio
MPQmaster
Renamer

Start off by making a folder in your data folder called character inside it make
another folder with the name of your real race.

Then Open up MWS (My warcarft studio) and go into your data folder
and open the common.MPQ using MWS .

Once opened a large list of files will appear you are looking for the one that says CHARACTER (in capitals)
When you open CHARACTER an another list of file will appear each with a race of a race
like
Gnome
Dwarf
etc.

Now find the race you want to look like and open it. It should say Male,felmale and have some other files not in male or female.

Now extract the male folder to the Folder of your real race (The one you just made in character folder in your data folder)

Then do the same with the Female folder. Then extract all the other .blp files not in male or female into the real race folder ( do not put them in male or female folder)

Okay now open Renamer. at the top of renamer there will be a bar that show what folder your and at the end of that there will be a folder click it and find the Male folder that you extracted the male stuff from MWS.Open it and a large list of files will come up now press ctr and a at the same time to highlight all then under edit click replace and a box will pop up. There will be 2 spaces to type in the box in the top bar type the race u want your character look like and in the bottom type your real race.

(So if i was changing my dwarf into a human would look like)

Then press okay and it will chnage the names of the files. The in the top left hand corner there is a AB button (it sort of looks like that) press it and it will save then do the Same thing with the female folder.

Then Open up Mpq master and under file click new and name it Patch-1.mpq a box will pop up press ok.

Now under Operation click new folder and name it Character (it will let u rename it as soon as u make it) then inside the character folder u just made make a folder with the name of your real race. then inside the folder make a folder called male, then click the name of your real race again and make a folder called female (MAKE SURE NOT TO MAKE THE FOLDER FEMALE
UNDER THE MALE HEAD YOU HAVE TO CLICK THE NAME OF YOUR REAL RACE AGAIN!!)

Make sure u still have the name of your real race selected. Now under
Operation click add file(S)(it may not open the first time u click it) Go to the character folder go to the name of your real race folder and select all the files not in the actual felmale or male folder then click the open button and they will be put into the MPQ (MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE THE NAME OF YOUR REAL RACE SELECTED IF U DON'T THEY WILL GO INTO
THE WRONG PLACE) now select the male folder and click add file(S) again but this time go into the male folder and select everything in it and press open. Then select Female and click add file(s) and open up female folder and select everything and press open. Once u have done all that close MPQmaster put the Patch-#.mpq into your data folder and your done.


OTHER INFOMATION:
the patch can be any number from 4 to 9.

You didn't swap the m2s right or at all then.
