Fantastic application, saved me a ton of faffing about when making a helm fix!

got that problem when it reaches 100% it opens MPQ editor and the MPQ editor goes blank aka doesnt respond. I did everything I got Windows XP 2002 office and SP2. any suggestions please??

When ever i try to run ModelEditFix.exe in my wow data folder, an error comes up and says, "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permission to access the item." Anyone know what to do? :P

Ok i got the 2.3 fix and all. I think i made everything correctly but my character's face looks retarded. I got this problem when i tryed to chance my night elf female to human female. And it looks like it had all face models hit on top of that and same thing whit hair. So is there anyway to chance this ? Also anyone know how big are the chances to get banned by useing these model edits?

Race to race changes are completely, 100% client side. Meaning only you can see them. In fact, all edits are, it's just the ones that actually change the world (i.e. BG hacking) are the ones that are a big no-no. Or say... replacing the model of a campfire to a giant building. To anyone that see you, it will look like you're floating 50 feet in the air (which, btw if you ever do a big swap like that, DON'T show it off in front of people). Blizzard usually only scans for this stuff only if they have a reason (in other words if a player reports you, which since race to race is all client side, why would they ever suspect your a different race?)

On a side note, anything to male tauren (probably female too) is totally broken. The tail, hunchback, and bottom of the hooves don't have textures, and are completely whited out. Now I know this is easily fixed by changing more texture files, but for those who don't have the slightest clue on how to do it, other than this app. You might wanna fix it.

can't get this work too well. i can load the program(s) perfectly fine, i get a neat-looking .mpq out of it in the data folder, but when i load up the character before clicking enter world, the entire screen becomes black with the exception of buttons. using vista, but even going compability mode and run as admin doesn't work.

anyone got a clue what to do?
