DBC Editing is very simple and allows you to change the gear you've seen and have. You can replace it with anygear. But rememeber Head must be head and so on
1) Load your hexeditor i use Xv132 very simple
2) goto \World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enGB and load Itemcahce.WDB Not the itemnamecache you wont get far with that.
3) find the item you wanne replace. you can use the search funtcion. control + f and then you go to the last letter in the gear name click the last letter and move to the and then move two squares to the right and then you are the "magic numbers" thats the number we wanne replace.
4) goto [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and search for the gear. OR [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and then and then wow allahakazams homepage and search for the gear and then push XML button when you looking at the gear on go down to Iteminfo and get the numbers and convert them in the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] NOTICE: YOU MUST REMEMEBER TO MOVE THEM AROUND so if the hex says 42ab then its ab42.
5) Save the wdb file and close the editor ;D
Notice you dont need to use ME.exe to use this and the new gear wont show on the char screen only in game.
Pictures will come tommorow and link to download the hex editor
Jojo if you change the texture of you hood in to the texture of a foot .. my 2 best guess would be
1) Running around with boots on your head
2) the texture wont show up
