The MMOwned community need to follow these rules when downloading big files from my server:

Rule 1: Do not directly link to these files. Download them and host them somewhere else.

Rule 2: If you download these files and rehost them, give me credit for making them.

Rule 3: I can and will ban you from downloading things from my server if I see you leeching.

Ok I am tired of hearing people complain about not being able to get WoW 1.1 or 1.2. Here are the DIRECT downloads to the iso files, daemon tools to run the isos, and a tutorial by yours truly. All of these files are hosted on my home web server, so if my bandwidth gets pwned, my whole home connection gets pwned. Please DON'T directly link to these from another site. Download them and make that website host them. If my bandwidth does some how get pwned, I'll just take these down. Also if blizzard complains, I'll have to take it down too.

Probably because it's a common form of CD information copied onto a computer and they don't want to get sued for hosting pirated files. If you can rename the extension to like .reallyaniso or something like that, then you should be able to upload it. To be able to rename file extensions in windows, open up My Computer, Click Tools -> Folder Options, go to the view tab, and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". Then just right click -> rename the file and change .iso to something else.

Edit: Should I do all my posts in this color?

58.5kb/sec, not toooooo bad. I would reccomend uploading to more places though.

Btw the lighter orange on second post I think was better.

Edit: Dl speed changes from 14-140kbs alot.

It will use an .iso image and mount it...basically tricking your computer into thinking you have another CDRom/DVD Drive but instead of using disks/CDs it will use the image ripped from a CD/DVD and emulate it :-)

DAEMON Tools allowes your computer to lunch .ISO (imagefile: same format as on a Installation CD which is just ripped of the CD and stored on your pc )

Edit: Tested downloads, rapid share seems to average 2.5times faster but has a 2hr wait between downloads, I wont be able to upload anywhere untill the weekend, anyone want to upload to filefront or anything else?

Lol, are the download speeds on my personal server that bad? Damn, should have got that 20 dollar upgrade to 50Mb/s download, which probably has a 5Mb/s upload speed, based off that I currently have a 10Mb/s down and a 1Mb/s up.

PS: My upload speed is the same as your download speed (if you're downloading from me).

The must've been more people downloading at the same time then, and your not even at 50mb/ sec? Ouch dude for a home computer i have 250mb / sec.

PS: Installed everything but apperantly one of the files is a diffrent patch so you have to paatch in order to get on there, and vista isnt compatible with those early patches -.-

Dude, I'm 100% sure you don't have a 250Mb/s download speed on your internet, unless you live at NASA. The best thing Comcast has is 8Mb/s download and AT&T's highest is 6Mb/s. And the best thing I've heard of is Surewest has 50Mb/s download speed for the low price of $261 dollars a month (I was joking when I said low). Quoting their site, " For the web extremist who wants the fastest and the best. No other speeds in the nation can compare to this." I Extremely doubt that you spend $1,305 a month on internet (261 x 5). Though, you may have 250Kb/s (1Mb = 1000Kb; 250Kb/s = 0.25Mb/s).
