[Guide]Hex Model Editing (Shoulder Removal?) -

Okay- Since a lot of us were moved down to lazy leechers (Grrr! :O) I decided to make a guide on Hex model editing on a Mac. (Sorry if this takes a while to load. I like to make the pictures big for detail )
Now, for programs!
You will need:
World of Warcraft (Duh)
Hex Fiend[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Now, With Hex Fiend (Much like the windows version) allows you to open almost any file in your WoW folder. For this guide, we will poke itemcache.wdb
When you open the program- the interface should look familiar.
Now, For my model edit, I will search for [High Warlord's Plate Shoulders]
Press Apple/command+F to pull up the search. I simply searched for High Warlord and the shoulders were the first thing to come up O.O
NOW! The way you highlight the hex code is much different than you do on the windows version! You must find the classic hex code (For these shoulders they are B6 91) You highlight these and it will co-highlight a bunch of periods. This is supposed to be like this.
Now- What we are changing this to... [Mantle of the Corruptor]
Now we are heading over to Allakhazam for the hex code (I had another site that supplied every hex code- but I have lost it and me being considered a leecher does not allow me to search forums for it incase anyone had posted the URL) in this case, the display code for the shoulders (Corruptor) is 42304. This is obviously not a hex code, so We need to convert it.
(Oh yeaa screen shot on where to find it on the page! )

The Converted code DIRECTLY is A540. Input these as 40 A5 (I made the mistake of not)
Then Enter them in the Hex list of itemcache.wdb
NOW REMEMBER CHILDREN, ALWAYS SAVE THE ORIGINAL FILES!(Lolwtf I feel like Chef now)

Annd.... OMG IT DOESN'T WORK. WAHH I am full of disapointment. Well this was more like a shoulder REMOVAL thingy XD

Gives hex right there and then.
