stalkz, heres whatsujp. i found out my problem. whenever i have the new patch file in my data folder, wow gets error. when i remove the patch folder, wow works fine. So im guessing there is something wrong with name of file. Maybe. Its called patch-3. Anyway, ill try it again but im not sure if ill get it 2 work.

i tried 2 more times from scratch. hasnt worked yet. idk what im doing wron cuz i literally followed it exactley step by step. its the patch file i save it as thats affectin wow. idk if blizz fixed it in recent patch.

Is it because I'm trying to change the haircut of a model changed character? Or is it because I messed up somewhere (it is possible, but I'm pretty much sure I did everything right).

Thank you for your answer '.
What is WowEditFix? thats prolly my problem.

about the model edit fix. i have the 2.2 version in my wow folder. but this is what happens, i run the modeleditfix.exe thing, or w.e. and i get a black screen, then wow tried 2 start, and gets the error. Saying somethin wron with my dbc charhairgeosets. I dont know how to enable model chanin like people are talking about w/ the model edit fix. it dos nothing.

Sorry I meant modeleditfix.exe ^^'. Thought people would understand.

When you get the black screen and WoW lauching, log your account and log your character, then you can close the black window, not before.

Re: [Guide] Changing your hair style! - 10-03-2007

This guide helped me not only with hairstlyes but, made me learn the dbc stuff so I was able to fix the jaw for the Blood Elf male to Undead male conversion (I'll post that one up soon in the appropriate thread).

and thanks.

Re: [Guide] Changing your hair style! - 10-03-2007

can someone please tell me how to fix this problem. When i run wow i et the wow.exe error. but its only when the modified patch-x file is in my wow data folder. i know i didnt forget a step but damn my undead is ugly i want 2 change his hair. and his chin if possible. hes missing lower half of jaw.

scratch that. i got wow to work with patch in it, just some minor renaming issues of the file. but anyway,i log in and i cant see my new hairstyle, its the sam as its always been. do i NEED model edit fix? cuz i tried using that ... version 2.2.2 an it didnt work. my hair just wont change. im mad pissed now.

Re: [Guide] Changing your hair style! - 10-04-2007

Hi, at first i want to say you made a very nice guide. Thank you
But I have a problem, I changed my female UD to a male UD and then I edited the hair style of my new male UD but nothing changed.
Then I tried to create a new male UD char and searched for the old hair style and there it was changed :<
Now I've wanted to ask you, is it possible to change the "old" hairstyle of my female UD to the one of the male UD, that i want?
