- Yes you need the MEF every time.

No, you don't need the MEF for texmod. Its modifying the textures in the ram, not MPQs. So there is no need in fixing the loading.

Is it possible to add parallax mapping/normal maps and otherwise create higher res textures? Or is that still too far out there?

You can make higher res textures but youll have to edit everyone one and add more details. Good luck

I'm having a problem with trees and plant textures, whenever I change them or something, it shows the whole leaf texture including background.

Example:

Good Tree Texture.

Bad Tree Texture!

-Yes you can send the files to other people. The files are .tpf and anyone can load it.

And for the guy above me, I honestly have no idea. Remember that this mod just replaces the skin of whatever you want to edit, it will not change the size/shape

I know that, yes, I tried to not violate the pixel size and stuff, even tried replacing it with another texture. I have no idea why it is doing this..

Can't change high resolution textures, only low quality seems to work.. if I add high quality it'll only reset back to the default one, even if I do the same change to the low quality and add both.
It's quite curious.

I may not be as great as model editing but this is 100% legal (So says a GM), mad easy to do. I just use to to change my Female humans hair to black.
