Ok, so we are going to change enchant into another enchant. For example: changing mongoose into spellsurge.
So, lets do it
1) Create a folder where you will put the enchant. Name it whatever you want.
2) In that folder create a folder called Spells
3) In that folder create a folder called Enchantments
**Whateveryoucallit\Spells\Enchantments**
4) Open MWCS and open patch.MPQ
5) Open folder called Spells and then Enchantments folder. You will find the .M2 of mongoose and spellsurge which we need.
6) Copy the Treepath of enchant you have (Mongoose in our case) and paste into your notepad. Or just write it down, you will need it.
7) Extract the enchant you are changing yours to, (SpellSurgeGlow_High.M2 in our case) into the Enchantments folder you created in step 3)
8) Rename the M2 you copyed into your enchantments folder into the M2 name from your notepad
** SpellSurgeGlow_High >into> MongooseGlow_High.M2 **
Now is the time to a new .MPQ with your changes and test it out
1) Open MWCS
2) Click on Pack(P) and Create MPQ Archive
3) Save it into your WoW\Data
** or you can save it whereever you want and when is it finished, you will copy it into your WoW\Data **
And call it patch=x
where x = number from 5-9
4) After you created new MPQ archive, click on Pack(P) > Add file to archive
5) Find your folder whateveryoucalledit and add the MongooseGlow_High.M2 into your MPQ archive
** We renamed it in step 7) so don't get scared **
6) Input the pathname which is Spells\Enchantments\
** don't forget to erase the bonus M2 if its there, you can't have it 2x **
7) Save and Close archive and you are ready
)
And here is the result: Mongoose > Spellsurge
