NOTE: all mpqs were packed into common.mpq, so instead of going to texture.mpq and model.mpq, all the files are within Common.mpq

k guys heres a guide on how to do a race to race model edit. Sadly i have not figured out why the helm thing always happens but o well.

Ok lets do this
\

1. Open up MPQ Master
2. Go to Model.MPQ
3. get the race you want changed to and Copy it into World of Warcraft\Data\YourRealRace\YourGender\(save here)
4. open up texture.MPQ
5. find the race you want changed to, not your real race, do not go into gender yet
6. extract all the files not in a gender to the file above that you saved the model into, BUT dont save it in the gender folder
7. now go to the gender u want changed into
8. pull all of those files into the folder above, and save it actually in the gender's folder (with the model)
9. Open up Renamer, and rename the race (and gender if required)
10. close renamer, and open up MyWarcraftStudio
11. Make the Speech2.MPQ and put your file into the data folder and add the model (just like any other model change u have to add it like Character\Race\Gender)
12. Add all the files into your Speech2 using MPQ master
13. and youre done!!!

Thats all, and like i said above i have not figured out the helm prb, sry

Been having that gay helm bug for ages ;(

edit: meh,Head item models are stored in Item\Objectcomponents\head\

Has files such as blahblah_DwM, blahvlah_TrF. If you look closley you can see "DwM" stands for The dwarf male head item, and TrF stand for Troll female. Simply rename them to what race you need ? :P

EDIT2: WOOHOO! it works. Got the head bug sorted.

Why dont you just post it here, I just wasted 10mins of my life trying to work it out :|

edit: omg nooooo. I transformed my Troll Female into an Orc male. Worked 100%, no bugs what so ever. Until...I found that my new Orc dosent have shoes just like the trolls! rofl xD. Part of the shoe model is there, but cuts off to show the feet. So i'm guessing this is a setting stored elsewhere ?

Ok got a question for you bloodofwar Ok heres a SS of what my char looks like after i changed it and i was wondering if there would be away to get rid of the hair :X it seems to be missplaced / random and cut up. i would wear the wrath helm but i cant find it in any of the mpq's :[

I looked in the folder and its not stored there only the Tier 3 helms are there not tier 2 :[
