What happens to me is that the Wow launches, but immediately shuts down. If i try to open Wow without that ModelEditFix Program Wow crashes and brings up the regular crash messages. Any ideas to solve this?

EDIT: Ok, I solved the crashing problem by renaming the .dbc file to CreatureModelData, as in this guide it was suggested to be renamed as CreatureDisplayInfo.. But another problem came up, my character has the old model but it's now all white.. To give some info I tried to change my male tauren into a High Elf Priest.. Anyone who could assist me with this?

I followed guide using the ogre but when i was done and i tried to open WoW it crashed when the sign in screen was meant to come up. Im not sure if its important or has nethin to do with it but i couldnt find patch-enGB-2.mpq or patch-enGB.mpq so instead i used patch-enUS-2.mpq. I don't know if theres any difference though because it still had the same ID number for ogre and all that. If im using wrong thing can you tell me where to find the GB ones. Also i named the final bit that went into my wow data folder patch-3.mpq am i meant to do nethin with the patch.mpq or patch-2.mpq files that are already there?

Anyways pls help i really wanna get this to work =] cya.


Edit: okay nm i figured out i needa use a dif launcher or sumfin to make it work =]

Any chance we'll see a guide for changng Druid/creature forms ( Night elf, every guide I see is Tauren ! ) into character forms? I'm not to much into animal forms and would rather just keep my character model at all times no matter what I shift into

I got the following problem

Like usual i just look into dbc and find the creature i want my toon to be turned into.
And then i find my toons race and copy-paste the lines, replacing my race lines.

Soo creature pig i copy-paste
and then i find toon and i replace all the info of my toon with the info of pig.

I have tried both

creaturedisplayinfo.dbc
charactermodeldata.dbc

I make an mpq of it name it a patch-3 or something

Then i double click the wowmodelfix (2.2.0 soo latest...)

I get the black window, i see my mouse eventually turn into a time symbol and then imediatly it switches back to my mouse pointer again, and then i wait and wait, but WoW won´t start.

I can still succesfully use modelfix for hair/skin/race changes but not creature somehow.

i guess i fail or don´t see something...

maybe someone can help out?
