Every time I go to do a race to race conversion, I get an error:
Code:
Assertion Failed!

(unknown)
charactertrollmaletrollmale.m2:-4
I'm not entirely sure what this means, but all I can gather is that race to race conversions will not work on a Mac. Is there any way to do them or am I out of luck?

Also, I was wondering if it was possible to do model changes using hex editing on a Mac and if so, what is the best program to use for it? I've tried HexEdit but my code switches don't seem to work. Maybe it's the guide I'm using?

Thanks!

Not sure if this was already posted, but here is an updated link for the Java program.

I seem to have this problem too, but only with some files. I am not sure if it has to do with how they were compressed (i.e. via another program other than Drop MPQ) or if it is just the file. Could be a protected file, but I am guessing as I am a novice when it comes to that sort of thing. I mean come on, I have a degree in graphic design. In any case, this is good stuff and I plan to try it out.

Cannot seem to get the MPQ compressor to work. The Extractor runs fine, but I can't drag and drop onto the compressor, nor open it and run normally. Any one else have a work around?

MPQ post 3.0.2 - 11-03-2008

There is a new version of Drop MPQ here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] apparently Blizz changed the MPQ encoding and this version has been updated to work with OS 10.4 and above. Also, after a bit of digging into the files, I found that the .blp files have to be name exactly as of 3.0.2 i.e. CAPS MATTER now just as the .MPQ file name matters Thank You!
