Hey uber, great job on this guide, took me like all day yesterday but I finally got it down. Wound up using wordpad for the dbc edits rather than openoffice's excel (I don't have office on this computer). Anyway I then discovered that you had the same edit in your thread, but both patches don't change the way certain armors look. I'm going from ScM to BeF and certain armor pieces have different models depending on whether they're viewed on a male or female character, and obviously they're mismatched now. I was wondering if you had any idea on how to clear that up or if it's stuck that way. Any help/insight you could offer would be fantastic.

I finally managed to edit the csv files and convert them back, everything seemed ok but the game just randomly crashes.

I've downloaded your edits from the other thread to see if it would still crash, it worked, so I messed up

The edit I did is Orc male into blood elf male.

I'm just wondering, is there an easy way to just switch all night elf males with night elf females? I'll read the guide over again, I don't want to chagne the race or anything like that, I just don't like Night Elf guys =P

Hey so I followed your guide and got most of the stuff working on my NeF->HuM however I am having one problem. Some of the mouth/jaw texture is missing, Here is SS of it. If needed I can send you my DBC files I edited to see what I did wrong. Any help is appreciated.

Very interesting read. Going to have to take it apart bit by bit after finals. Kinda wish I knew about model edit beforehand so I could have made an undead priest and then model swapped it

Nice Guide but i have a problem with my CharSections.dbc.csv i opened it with Excel everything is disordered i didn't got the same view like in the guide .

I downloaded Uber's CharSections.dbc.csv but i got the same ****, so if someone could help me and tell me what to do with my excel or my CharSections.dbc.csv Thx. ( +rep btw ) sorry for my bad english ^^

My CharSections.dbc does not have what you described, could I have possibly done anything wrong?

Select the CharSections.dbc, CharHairGeosets.dbc, andCharacterFacialHairStyles.dbc and drag and drop it onto the DBCUtil.exe

When I double click on dbcutil.exe it just opens a command prompt window and closes immediately. I am running Vista64bit.
Is there another way to convert dbc to csv?
